The National Automatic Merchandising Association will decide by April 6 whether or not the 2020 show planned for May 6-8 at Music City Center in Nashville will take place, according to an email from Carla Balakgie, NAMA president and CEO. Conventions nationwide are being postponed due to the coronavirus.
The association remains hopeful the show will be held as scheduled, Balakgie said, but the decision will be made based on the responsibility to balance members’ business needs with their greater health and safety.
"Whatever the decision following the announcement on or before April 6, we understand there will be questions and the need for communication regarding the way forward," Balakgie said in the email. "We pledge to keep information flowing and to keep you apprised of important developments."
